My business has developed over a 16 year period. I have been enriched by living and working in
diverse communities in Northern Ireland and England. I have also been heavily
influenced by the experiences and people that I’ve had the privilege to work alongside and its through these experiences that I am able to deliver these
worthy services. I am offering these value for money Workshops, Conflict Coaching and Mediation sessions in
schools as I believe they will be beneficial to our development in Northern
Ireland and can support our ongoing change.
- The workshops have been designed with young people in mind.
Creating an opportunity to consider their listening skills, their
views on conflict, their communication style and to consider change.
The workshops have been evaluated as interesting, informative and interactive.
They have been designed to complement Lessons for Life, Citizenship
and Personal Development Lessons.
- Mediation is about helping people to have difficult conversations.
Mediation is an informal process during which an impartial third party,
the mediator, assists disputing students/teachers in reaching a mutually
acceptable resolution regarding their dispute. Mediation is a voluntary
and confidential process that encourages disputes to be settled as quickly
and effectively as possible.
- Conflict Coaching - Conflict Coaching is a relatively new concept of
dealing with conflict. Conflict Coaching can help the young people in
Northern Ireland to identify their own areas for change, support personal
responsibility and communication. It helps them to look at the
conflict, see it for what it is and create more effective responses to
their difficult situations, whether arguments with friends, family, feeling
bullied, whatever it may be.
